NO, shampooing everyday if you have fine or oily hair is not a problem, and it will not damage your hair in any way. If your scalp itches, you may be using the wrong shampoo for your hair type. Redken has a great shampoo for daily cleansing: Cleansing Cream. There are many fine shampoo's on the market; some in salons, some in over-the-counter supply houses, and others in retail stores. Try several (buy the smallest size) until you find one that works on both the itchy scalp and the oily hair.
