: I am losing way too much hair everyday. I know that SOME hair loss is ok and everyone does lose some hair, but in the shower, I lose at least 40-50 strands..then during the day I am constantly having to pull the hair that I"m "shedding" away from the back of my shirt.
: I'm worried that after a few more months/years of this.. I will seriously lose enough hair that I will be getting bald spots. Is there anything I can do now to prevent this from happening? I found some "hair pills" at walgreens and have started taking them. they are supposed to strengthen the hair. I also am starting to notice quite a few grey hairs also, small short ones growing around my hairline.. I'm only 24 years old and I don't want to be bald or completely grey by the time I'm 30. I know the women in my fathers family have gone grey early.. so that might be something hereditary, but how can I stop the hair loss?? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I'm starting to get REALLY worried.
: thanks so much.
You may need to have a blood test to check your Thyroid. When it is not working properly(it acts as a "thermostat" for your body), you may experiance hairloss and(or)dry skin among other symptoms. This happened to me. Now I take SYNTHRIOD to regulate it. Just a thought!
