: Hi. I have colored my hair myself for years. I am naturally light brown but color it dark blonde. My problem now is that the color looks yellowish, orangish, reddish, etc!!!!!! I want just plain blonde.... I usually use the cheapest color, Balsam, & mainly do the roots each time. Is there anyway to get all the color out at home or any other suggestions??? Thanks
Buy Loreal hair color remover. It will only take out the dyed color. It won't restore your hair to the original color though. It leaves it kind of yellow. Then when you redo it, check the codes on the boxes. Beside the color number B is blue based, R is red based, O is orange based, A is ash, and N is neutral. My stylist advised me to always use the nuetral ones.
