hmmmm.... that is interesting... Did the doctor give you any other indication of what he thought might be the problem?? As far as washing your hair, there is no hard fast rule. It all depends on you own personal preference. I, personally, wash mine everyday during the week, because I like it fresh for work... then I don't wash it at all over the weekend. I like my own natural oils to be able to get to the ends of my long hair. I also usually put in a deep conditioning treatment and I like to leave that in over the weekend.

You may want to look at the shampoo you are using. Possibly it is causing the problem. I would experiment with the number of times you wash, and what you use to wash with. AS ALWAYS... make sure you rinse very well!! :)
