a therapist once told me she went to a hypnotherapist in situations like that (so she would be sure to sleep enough before an important day) i guess it worked for her. however, i'd recommend seeing one who is also a licensed psychotherapist. biofeedback might help too--i don't know anything about it but it sounds likely. probably the obvious things are don't have caffeine or alcohol the day before the test and exercise a lot so you'll be tired that night. getting professional massage therapy that day, especially if it includes acupressure, could help. a relaxation tape might too--I've used those and they helped me relax on days I'd had a lot of stress. the main thing is to turn off your mind and that might require advance training in relaxation or seeing a hypnotherapist.
