: Has any one heard of this problem or can give me any insight into what they think may be causing this. An elderly lady (with alzheimer's) has been frequently talking in different voices during her sleep carrying on a conversation (no one else in the room) Hear her talking while she is sleeping, but then an entirely different very deep male voice answers (this goes on back and forth for quite a long time.) Have also heard a couple other voices (a child's voice) responding to the conversation. At times her voice and the deep male voice will be talking simultaneously. It is quite a disturbing thing to hear---she has no recollection of it in the morning other then at times talking about people that had come to visit her.
: thanks for any suggestions
what kind of topics of conversations go back and forth? maybe she is reliving an earlier childhood experience.
