: I have been sleepwalking the last 2 weeks almost nightly. I have done VERY complicated things during these episodes. My car was driven for many miles, the kitchen scrubbed and reaaranged. I have even written notes to myself and taped them inside my car.
: I did see my doctor and he has put me on a sleeping pill in hopes of helping me go into deeper sleep. My biggest fear is that I am a single mom with small children in the house. Has anyone else ever done these types of detailed things and how have they coped with them?
Yes, I too sleepwalk. I have almost made it out to my car but my parents stopped me. It is VERY VERY dangerous. I would not settle for just sleeping pills because I find that the "deeper" I sleep is when it happens most. So I don't think you should try to sleep deeper. It seems to me that if you are able to drive your car and clean your kitchen while asleep, that is pretty deep sleep. Just some food for thought. Good Luck!!
