: Hi all,

: I am a 23 year old female and have been suffering from a sleeping problem for a few years now, but I can't seem to find out what it is. I don't think I sleep deeply enough. I am always exaughsted when I go to bed and when I wake up. I dream frequently at night, usually remembering at least 2 dreams but sometimes as many as 5. When I go to bed, I am asleep within five minutes. But if I am awakend anytime during the night by even the slightest noise, I am up for hours. I don't snore at all (this has been confirmed by friends), I am not overweight, I eat well and exercise regularly, I do not have very much stress in my life, and I am healthy in all other respects. But I need at least 10 hours of sleep a night just to function, sometimes more. Somebody help me, this is ruining my life. I have to go to bed at 9 pm just so I can wake up by 8am. I can't stay out late, I space out a lot during the day (almost like I am sleeping with my eyes open), I have to struggle not to fall asleep in the car, and all I can think about all day every day is going home to my nice warm bed. I am going to see a doctor as soon as I can, but it will be January before my health benefits from my job kick in (if I can keep it with this problem). If any of you can help direct me to some sleep sources it would be appreciated.
Please tell me more. What happenes if you get very excited about thing. What do you feel?
