Anyone know if high altitudes affect the occurance of sleep apnia. Ever since I moved up-hill and I get a head cold I struggle. Do allergies play into this. During allergy season I have apnia. During non-allergy season I do not. I have always had a limited ability to pull air through my nose. ie I breathe almost uniquely through my mouth. I tried to see a docter but he failed to show up and have since lost my courage. I am of normal weight and currently do not smoke. Any insight/information would be of great help.
