: Some nights I wake up and gasp and have a real bad heart pang, usually accompanied by tingling in my left hand, sometimes in my right. But the worst heart pang I had the tingling was in the left hand. It's like I gasp for breath, like I wasn't breathing. I've been known to have some anxiety attacks (because of this I think). My heart checks out fine, and my sleep apnea test turned out negative. Does anyone else have 1-2 second severe heart pain with numbness?

I have alot of your symptoms, in fact before I read this I thought I was alone. I had to be rushed to the hospital in an ambulance three days ago for waking up like that and uncontrollable shaking, so much in fact I couldn't talk. I am going to my doc. on wed. to get on something that might help. Write me back if you want to talk.
