Lucy -- I've also been on the cpap machines and have some of the same problems with bronchitis systems and cough my head off most of the time and doctors tell the don't see anything wrong but I still have it and I think it has to do with the humidifier that just covered me you with water even when it was on the lowest setting. I have also been a part of a national study of the drug Provigil for it use in helping people with sleep apnia to stay more alert during the day which allows you to wind down in the evening for a better nights sleep. the jury is still out on this as far as I'm conserned but I still take 400 mg a day. I hope this helps you or some one who reads this. Brian
