: Okay, Im that person who can't get enough sleep. If sleeping was a hobby, I would be the best at it. Once my head hits the pillow, Im out. But, the only concern I have is that each day around 2pm, I go into this unbearable and uncontrolable sleepy mode. Could it be something in my lunch?
How old are you? I have the same problem, but it happens even at the beginnig of my day and throughout, not just after lunch. It could be what you eat though. Think about it, when babies eat, they burp and then go to sleep. We adults are not THAT different. You should try eating a very light lunch and see if you are more awake. Also, do some research on sleeping disorders. I have narcolepsy and ALL of it's symptoms. Let me know what you find out. I'd love to discuss how things are with your research. Here is a good place to start.
