Have you ever researched Narcolepsy? I was diagnosed with the sleeping disease when I was 28 and have ALL the classic symptoms. One is hypnagogic hallucinations—vivid and often scary dreams and sounds reported when falling asleep. Another is sleep paralysis—being unable to talk or move for a brief period when falling asleep or waking up. Here is a good site to research - http://www.sleepfoundation.org
Email me if you would like to discuss it further.
