Your boyfriend needs to be careful in doing what he is doing. Oxicontin will disturb sleep and the sleep pattern. I am a chronic pain sufferer. In addition to oxycontin, I am also treated with a neuropathway inhibitor which for day-to-day life, works better than a narcotic. Save the oxycontin for when he really needs relief from pain. As for the sleeping pill, it could be causing what I have been told is a rebound effect. Talk to the doctor!!!!
