zaleplon?

Help?
I've herniated disc (BIG ouch), Meniere's syndrome, and chronic tendonitis in one wrist. I've not slept from pain and other stuff since late May. Doc gave me zaleplon (Sonata) to help - I've tried 90mg in 18hours to no result. Anyone out there have experience with this med and possible over-dose effects? This is way too much for anyone to bear, seems to me. Please, any counsel will be appreciated.
