: Has anyone out there tried alluna? If so, how good is it and have you used it while taking SSRI
It wasn't good for me. It did not make me sleepy at all. I've tried valerian before, and it didn't help. My naturopathic physician told me sometimes valerian could have a stimulating effect for some people. I'm one of those people. It was false hope for me. My insomnia was chronic, what made me think an herbal supplement would do the trick. I got some information from this message board awhile ago. This person recommended a book called "Desperatly seeking Snoozin" From the first night I read the book I've been sleeping from 5-7 hours a night straight. For the first 2 or 3 days it was only 5 hours, then gradually its now 7 hours. I thank God for helping me find this message board. I feel rested and finally normal again. Try it, afterall you have nothing to lose, except for sleep if it doesn't work for you. But you're already doing that I suppose. I absolutely feel that taking medications won't solve our insomnia. Good Luck!
