For the past 3 years, I've taken counter sleeping pills. I decided to stop taking them this past Christmas. I was hoping for the dependence of the pills would go away in time. Well, April came, and I saw no changes in falling asleep easier after 3 months without sleep help. But now I'm in the same situation all over again. I HATE taking these pills everynight, but I really want to sleep. I back to about 10 pills everynight of diphen..., 500mg. The effects are crazy. For some reason when the pills start to take effect, I become scared. I have a lot of hallucinations, nothing real extradinary, but enough to put me very uneasy. But the other problem is that the pills don't even put me to sleep right away like they used to. I would really like some advice on sleep vitamins. A stronger drug isn't the answer. Please help me with some advice or answers. Thank you
