ok, so i've skimmed the diaries, and nothing yet has made me want to smoke more (altho i do realize and certainly respect that they have helped alot of people). alot of enthusiasm, but too much "oh, two weeks, huh? if you fall off the wagon, it's OK..." and in my crazy nicotine deprived mind, i think that well hey, others fall after only two weeks, so maybe i will too". but tonight i went searching for real stories. i found and i read excerpts from real people, who either have lung cancer and lived, or who have had lung cancer and died. powerful, but enough for me, for tonight, to not give in to the psychological need (because my body is almost rid of nicotine) to smoke. peace all, and here's to another smoke free day (day 16, hour 22, minute 15).
