: : : : : : : :method of quitting smoking is? Does it work? Please reply.

: : : : : : : Passebecq's promises are too good to be true. If his program is really that good, why doesn't he describe the method of treatment? With this limited information, I believe it is a scam.
: : : : : : : If anyone has ordered this "Method" please reply...I ordered it and postdated a check over two weeks ago and have received nothing. Their toll-free number gives me a busy signal. I plan to stop payment on my check if I can't get any satisfaction by the end of the week. Please email me with any information...much appreciated!
: : : : : : : : : : Has anyone used the Andre Passebecq stop somoking method and does it work?????thanks
: : : : : : : : : I have the same question. Has anyone ever used or heard of the stop smoking method from Andre Passebecq of the Direct Health Organization. The promos from them seem quite promising. They offer a complete money back guarantee. Please help if you can! Thanks.
: : : : : I did the same as you, and I post dated a check. I cannot find any information about them in the directory assistance for New York. My check was mailed on the second of June, and I have had no word. I am going to go to my bank and stop payment because for one thing they were supposed to mail the method within 48 hours. Well, 48 hours is long passed! I think that they are running a scam. Do like me, and stop payment on the check!
: : : : >>> Their email is:

: : : I have ordered this method as well. So far it is doing me no good. You should stop payment on your check. I used a credit card and i'm not sure how to not be charged. I want to send it back, but of course they did not send me a shipping adress to do so. If anyone else ordered this, it doesn't work, maybe it will for some. I am going back to the gum or the patch.
: : : I ordered the method back in April..waited a good month before i received the material...was just about to have a stop payment put on the check...boy now i wish i had! I will give it this much...it did help me cut back on smoking, but not quit...tried it for the 2 weeks, then returned it for me "refund"...sent it back certified mail, so I know that they received it...they did not cash the check until 2 weeks ago, so clearly they do NOT honor their promised...I would recommend to everyone out there DO NOT send these people money! And yes, I orginally had a phone number, but there is no listing in NYC for these people...any ideas as to what we can do collectively to keep these people from taking advantage of consumers?
: ::: Thanks for all your input on this product. I was going to try it, since I can't stay in the right mind set to stay off of smokes completely. About 2 yrs. ago I managed to stay off completely for 9 mos.,(used patch & Wellbutrin) but then gradually, going back to it, though, fortunately not as heavy (yet). I seem to be fine if I'm in a non-smoking environment, but I live with a spouse that smokes, so cigs are always around & available. Patch doesn't seem to be working like it did last time for me. Would appreciate any input from others in this situation. I will trash this junk form Passebecq.
: FYI for those that are still trying to reach them for refund, the numbers on the form I just received are Telephone 1-888-221-2871 and Fax is 1-514-282-2003.
I got sucked into a well written ad and sent a check. After about a month the materials arrived. My advice for anyone considering this method is to save your money. I too have been trying to get a refund, but unfortunately inall of the materials they send you, there is no address or phone number.
