I highly urge you to supplement/use the nicotine gum. I quit on June 18, wore the patch for 2 weeks before I got depressed, emotional, etc. When I switched to the gum - well, I handle things much better - instant gratification - pop a 4mg piece, feel the slight nic rush. much better than the patch. and i can smoke uh chew anytime i want (love the feeling of freedom by the way - not having to worry if a store/business/restaurant has a smoking section...) and the fact that everything that can go wrong has gone wrong since i quit - times when my habit would've gone thru the roof...i deal...and i can...
