: I quit smoking while using Zyban on July 18, 2000. I had been on Zyban for 2 weeks prior to my quit date and had not experiences any side effects. However, on July 21, I came down with a severe case of hives. After several trips to the emergency room, I am fanally starting to feel better. I am still not smoking and of course have stopped the Zyban. I would reccomend Zyban for help in quitting cigarettes, but be aware of the possible side effects. : I quite smoking July 6\00 after taking Zyban for 10 days. I had no side affects for the first while, but in the last two weeks I have been feeling light headed, confused, emotional & depressed. I still have 3/4 of a prescription left but I am quitting taking them July 21\00 which is tomorrow. I don't have an urge at all to smoke so I don't need to take zyban anymore. It does the job but there are some side effects. If you can quit smoking by taking this after a couple of weeks, I really believe it is worth taking zyban.
