I had quit cold turkey like two and a half weeks ago. Here is something which might help everyone. Actually I had an appointment with my dentist for teeth cleaning and I had set up that date as my goal for quitting. So I had my last cigarette before going to the dentist and after I got my teeth cleaned, I kind of lost the taste along with it. It has been like 2 and half weeks now and I have not had any urge to smoke.
From the last 3-4 days I am having a lot of dizzyness and it starts in the evening after I get off work. Its so severe that I can't even drive properly. I am having problems remembering things in the evening time and I am only 30 years old.
Has anyone experienced this? If so please let me know. I have no urge what so ever but the dizzy spells are killing me. I got to sleep at 8:00p.m and wake up early in the morning. It is so unlike me. Help!!
: : Does anyone know approximately how long the withdrawl symptoms last and if I should still be experincing them!? Thank you muchly
: : Hi there, well, last time I gave up smoking, those flu like symptoms lasted about two weeks, like I had the real flu. I was coughing, my throat was sore, I was coughing up phlegm (sp?).. it was quite disgusting... I even got that feeling you described of having had too much to smoke the night before when I hadn't even smoked, but that went away when the flu went away.. so hang in there buddy... it will pass. :) Good luck.
: i just recently quit while taking zyban. i feel as though my body went into shock, and didn't react in any way. i was almost numb to withdrawl symptoms until 2 days ago (about 2-3 weeks after quitting) and started experiencing flu like symptoms; nausea, irritibility, and fatigue.
