I just passed the 18 year mark of my stopping smoking. It wasn't easy...there were no drugs to help with quitting back then although I did go for hypnosis. I truly believe that if you want to quit, you will find a way. It is very difficult to give it up...it is just so addictive but I am proof that it can be done. I just got to the point where I decided that the cigarette was not going to win! Now, 18 years later, all the grief I went through to quit seems like a flash in the pan and I am so glad that I was able to do it. All you people trying, good luck and don't give up! It is so nice not being a smoker and it is worth the effort it takes.
