I have this too. The definition according to my medical dic is as follows:
Any forward slipping of one vertebrae on the one below it.
What mine amounts to is I have a vertebrae that has slipped out of position. It caused me a great deal of pain but I have learned to cope and realize what I can and can't do. There is alot more can't than can!!! Feel free to email me if you want to chat more or I will continue to check the board.
I have had pain for years but I have finally found a doctor that seems to know what he is talking about and explained everything to me. I too will eventually have to have surgery but I am saving that as a very last option.
