Naprosyn (Generic:naproxen)

Does anyone take this anti-inflammatory for spondylolisthesis? The doctor that prescribed it for me said i have arthritis in my low back but two other doctors, one prior to this dude, eight years ago and another recent doc tell me i have spondylolisthesis. Wondering if naprosyn is only for arthritis or if it will help the pain I have as the result of spondyl... Also, does anyone know if it naprosyn causes weight gain? Any info appreciated. :)
