I was diagnosed today with Cervical Spondylosis & Cervical Myleopathy. I was originally diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis last april 99 with demylination at C2- 7. Since then i have had a few MRI's and the demylination seems to have gotten better. Now the doctor tells me I have the Cervical Spondylosis at C5-6. I am taking Neurontin for the pain. (which is numbness and tingling in my hands & arms, sometimes into my feet) Sometimes it gets so bad that i cannot find a good position to be in without pain. My doctor does not recommend surgery instead I am taking the Neurontin (1200 mg a day) which does not help 100%. It seems to dull the pain a little. The doctor also tells me that he is not 100% sure it is not Multiple Sclerosis but he does not feel in his gut that it is MS. He does not want to put me thru another spinal tap. I had one in April 99 and it was normal. Anyway, if anyone has any information i can use, please email me at slucas@airtechniques.com. Thank you, Suzanne
