I had a fusion of C-5 & C-6 May 8th due to trama. This was an emergency due to an accident May 6th. The upside is I'm getting better (ever so slow), the downside is the donor site was a plug from my hip. The hip has been very slow to get better and has "put me down" twice for a week each time. I did have a SCI so all that associated pain has also been distracting. Maybe someone with less initial damage would be a better source of information but feel free to Email. Good Luck, Mace
