Are there any less invasive surgical alternatives to L4S1 fusion? My wife has a ruptured disk, though she is in terrible pain she has not expierienced 'drop foot'.In lieu of the fusion we are trying very aggressive physical therapy. My wife has tried IDET with no sucess, are there other surgical options we should explore? I am insterested to hear people's expierences.
