I have a herniated disc at L4-5 which is 5 mm and may be impinging the left L4 nerve root, however my sciatic pain is in the right leg. That pain is down the back of my leg, in my foot and the skin on my thigh hurts. I have also had some burning in my heel and I've also had some difficulty moving this leg, like when I get out of a car. But my doctor says that this isn't being caused by the herniated disc because it's in the wrong leg. Does anyone know what might be going on?
