: Hello I share many of your symptoms due to a Syrinx at the ~C2-T8 level. Any signs of Syringomyelia or a cyst in that area. Might be something to ask the Neurologist about.
My name is Donna and I had surgery in 1994 for syringomyelia. My symptoms were numbness in my right side from breast bone to spine, collar bone to belly button. I started to get weak and had alot of tiredness and headaches. I had just had a baby 6 months prior to symptoms starting and was told they could be from anesthisia during child birth. I went to another doctor and was sent on to a Neursurgeon. Her first step was a MRI. I was in brain surgery 2 weeks later. I have major nerve damage due to letting it go for so long. I am weak in my arms and legs, meaning I am strong but can not do anything for a extended amount of time (like stirring a bowl of cake batter, putting my hair up,etc.). PLEASE see a neurologist NOW!! It can save you from alot of problems later.
