: : I was in a car accident a few months ago and I have been seeing a chiroprator regular on going basis sometimes twice a day..I have had two static emg scans first one i was completely off the charts as severe second one severe still in a lot of places in the spine area..I am going to be having a mri and emg needle scan done on me this week...my concern is why my lower back is causing so much pain and moving to the hips and making the right leg go out at the fibia..my doctor seems to think that I am fine and just rest but sitting and typing or just plain driving for a short period of time really acts my lower back up and I go to stand up and my right leg gives out for a few minutes has anyone experienced such weirdness like this and if so what did u do to have it cured? Sorry to go on and on but i am so concerned....please reply

: Sounds like the nerves are being pinched. Whether they are injured, swelling and muscle spasms. Anytime you lose the feeling or the leg goes out on you, that is nothing to mess with. Please don't wait long. Nerve damage can be permanent. Are you having any bladder or bowel trouble? Go to a Neurologist and get it checked after your MRI/EMG. They are good tests to have and bring with you to Neuro. Good luck.
Thank you for replying to my message..yes I had an mri done this morning and emg tomorrow so i should know something by Monday at the latest....
