I too have a ruptured disk. Mine is C6-C7. However, I'm refusing surgery. I've talked to to many physical therapists / Chiropractors who've successfully treated the injury. So I said to my physical therapist, "Knock yourself out and go for it." Things have been going great. I've heard numerous stories such as yours and I'm very sorry. I know the pain. I'm a freelance writer so my writing has suffered due to not being able to get comfortable.
