As a result of a long flight recently, my wife experienced a Venus Thrombosis, which subsequently bled causing a series of epileptic fits and defects to her speech etc. Enough is not done by the airlines to either prevent or even warn travellers what risks are involved. I would be very interested to hear from anyone who has either had a similar experience, or has information on this matter.
