I have had surgery 12 years ago on 3 disks in neck. All 3 were together. like 4-5 5-6 6-7 I saw the MRI today and I have a herniated disk and bone spurs pressing on spinal cord. There is no fluid surrounding the disk. It is dry. And looks vary narrow. I have numbness in left index finger and numbness in right middle finger and index. I also have numbness in right leg. and burning in leg and fingers. This has been going on for 6-8 months. The past 6 months more noticeable and I also had operation on l5 disk in lower back. I've scheduled surgery for the first week in Jan. They are going to use a bone bank this time. My hip still is tender to touch and don't want to go through that again. They are going to put a metal plate in also. My question is will this numbness in hands and legs go away. He said he could not guarantee it. Has anyone else had this procedure and did the numbness and burning go away afterwards? Thanks Annett Greenwood
