Hello -- I had a physician change procedures without consulting me. He decided to laminate C2 - C7, instead of fuse C5 - C6. He did the wrong procudure! I did sue, and won on two counts of malpractice. However, the jury also decided that there should be no award, because the doctor was "nice" and "wouldn't try to hurt" me.

: Hey...actually I'm just started a search to try and help me with my lawsuit. I was in a car accident and ended up with neck surgery. I also went through PT and that just caused more pain! The surgery helped the original problem but caused every day cervicogenic headaches in which I'm taking a lot of drugs daily to deal with the pain. I had Anterior Cervical Disectomy and fussion with a plate on C5,6 and 7. I'd like to know if anyone else might have had this happen too.:
: : Hi I'm new to the board and just wanted to know if any one has filed any lawsuits for failed back surgeries.
: : 2 years ago I had a laminectomy for a herniated disk and was sent for physical therapy 4 weeks after the surgery. The therapist put me through such a rigorous workout that I believe caused my failed back. I know that back surgery isn't 100% but my life as I knew it is over.....constant pain.....lost my business......can't work.....yadda yadda yadda!!! Please let me know if any one has had any luck with a lawsuit. Thanks MJ-- Email me at mscript39@aol.com
