: I had an auto accident in mid Jan. 2000 . I have increasing pain in my lower back/pelvis area (and leg pain). I have been going to physical therapy and see no real improvement. Anyway, I would like to know if anyone has this problem as a result of injury? I had no prior back pain or problems before this accident. Yet it seems that certain doctors do not want to get involved in any legal battles. So they try to brush it off saying that the stenosis was always there and don't worry about it. One Dr. did'nt even want to order an MRI. He kept telling me it's muscular and an MRI won't show anything. Well he was wrong and the pain is increasing gradually. I have read that injury can cause this but the articles never go into any detail. Also it seems this is a condition common to men in thier 50's and 60's, I just turned thirty. I fear that it will be hard to prove the accident caused it and the reckless kid involved will get away with this, and I will be left in pain.
