I am on medical leave. This pain is very severe. I have been very physically active my whole life, and now I hardly leave my house. Can anyone tell me more about this burning pain? My surgeon is checking to see if I have bone spurs that is causing a pinched nerve in my shoulder. I am concerned that this burning is a cause of nerve damage???? Should surgery help?

I have a C 5/6 incomplete injury and yes, burning shoulders along with arms and one leg. Burning seems to go along with SCI and your's is probably either injury or irritation to the spinal cord. I can only guess, but it needs to be corrected by surgery according to what I've gleaned reading these boards.
