I was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called "astrocytoma syringo myelia" in May 1985. I was 14 years of age. After being told, I was given 6 weeks to live. They attempted to remove it but it was in a delicate position on my spine and they were unable to remove it all. After all these years, I am now a quadraplegic. Best wishes to you and your daughter.
