spine

i was diganosed with spinal stenosis, norrowing of the spine, i have constante numbness in my fingers, and chronic pain down my arm into my hand and fingers.
i am right handed, it seems to give me reliefe when i am sleeping, but when im working or moving around the pain is unbearable. my first opinion was for the surgery. i am waiting to see another orthopedic.
are theyre other options besides suregery. i also have a herniated disc in my lower back,
