Linda, I have had epidural injections which did not help me at all. I was supposed to have a set of three. My dr. said if the first one does not work, the second one more than likely will not work either.I had the 2nd but did not go back for the third. Have you had a myelogram? An epidural is not nearly as bad as that. It is scary, but they numb the site before they stick in the needle and it's really not painful at all. I guess if the epidural injections don't work, and MRI or myelogram is next. That is the way it was for me anyway. My problem ended up being fibromyalgia and my pain was caused by my rigid muscles instead of some sort of problem with my spine. If you want to talk, e-mail me at SLong10268@aol.com and I'll answer any questions you may have. Suzanne
