I am faced with spinal fusion of L3-S1 and do not want to do it. I saw a show about a Dr. on the West coast who is using a new technique, inserting a disc (titanium?), and the recovery was only a week or so. Does anyone out there know what I am talking about? I saw this last summer and cannot remember who it was. I think is was in Seattle or San Franciso.
