:my brother had a microdisectomy and still had the leg pain as you have. He had to go back and have a lumber fusion after about 3 months. the mri after microdisectomy showed no reherniation of the disc, however when the dr. preformed the surgery for fusion, he found that the disc had indeed reruptured. i would consult your phsyician with this info. this was in lexington ky. dr. tibbs
