I am a married 34 male that has been diagnosed as bipolar -mixed mania- I was told about this condition when I was 17. Tried meds - thought it was a waste of time SO now after many years of drug and alcohol abuse and not being able to stop no matter how hard i tried I found that I stopped when I took my Lithium.Weight Gain,retaining water,getting so fat it hurts my back.SO....the Doctor gave me Topomax along with my Lithium and BAM! weight lost! I had to stop because I have no Insurance but now that i am blimping up again I will find some money some how
