If one needs meds to get thru, that is fine to take them, of course. But many chemical imbalances are due to a thought life that needs changed, which usually can be done with therapy.
Harbored anger causes an imbalance, and bitterness does too. Forgiveness and anger management can prevent the reoccurring problem with only good side-effects.
I am not anti-med, just bringing up another point.

Anyone that dislikes the side-effects and wants to quit does need to wean off, but the shakey feelings will go away. Medical doctor's jobs depend on medicating. That is what they do.
It is your decision, not a doctor's.
