: Hey greg
: what did the doctors say about the irregular heartbeat? Is that really a symptom of panic disorder? Sorry maybe I just don't know enoguh... look it might really be worth to have that checked out, and if it is only to help take your fear away! if you go to a heart specialist either you will get help for a real problem or you will be rid of your fear, so it might be worth it anyway?
: But since oyu are saying it is so expensive... oh well i don't know what to tell you! I am just really interested if irregualr heartbeat is a typical symptom of panic disorder.. on the othe rhnad you ahve had it for 7 years...
: ok let's see what other people write.. i tend to err on the cautious side but it IS a lot of money. What do YOU think? I mean, the money is certainly worth it if the visit prevents you from heart problems or, if it IS panic disorder, from spending the rest of your lfie in fear? But I have no idea how intense your fear is.
: Greg get this problem checked out by a Doctor. I spent one night in the hospital last week finding out whether I had a heart attack or not. It started with chest pains that would keep me up at night and bother me all day. Went to my Doctor and had an EKG that came back abnormal(Talk about a Panic attack). Was rushed to the hospital via ambulance and an enzyme test performed to verify whether it was a heart attack. The test came back negative so I was taken the next day for a scope test of my stomach. The test showed I had stomach erosions caused by an anti-inflammatory drug that I had just started taking. Sorry for the long story just to tell you to see a Doctor. It could be as simple as ACID REFLUX. Good Luck
