Hi Seth,

Also, did any of your doctors check for problems with your adrenal glands? I know it sounds crazy after the doctors seemed to check for everything but I have researched this lately and find that it seems to be a real problem with some people. I think the theory is that when you are high stressed for a long time, you exhaust your adrenal glands (the source in the body that is supposed to help you cope with stress). This exhaustion, I've heard, can not only create a constant tiredness but also feelings of anxiety and panic in situations that never before bothered you. I call it irrational anxiety...not the typical anxiety that you were used to before, like before a big test or before having to speak in public, etc. Not all doctors will know what you are talking about with this adrenal gland thing, so I would try doing some research on the internet beforehand. You can try searching for hypoadrenalism or cortisol. You might also ask your doctors to check your cortisol level. I think there is also a saliva test called an ASI test that checks your adrenal glands.

I'm not sure if this will help you but it sounds similar to something I've experienced lately (although I have more physical symptoms other than anxiety such as nausea and tiredness). Hope this helps. It may be anxiety on its own or it may still be something physical creating this inability to handle anxiety. I would keep researching...hopefully some of what I talked about will be helpful for you.

Please keep us posted on what you find out!!
