My 11yr old son is taking paxil for depression and lately he has been coughing up blood. I asked the doctor about it and he listened to his lungs and said they sounded fine. Does anyone know if this is a paxil side affect? We are going to try to go off the paxil but very, very slowly.If he gets depressed again is there a good herbal remedy instead of the paxil?
