Paxil and Klonipan

Help. I have a mother who is living with a panic/anxiety disorder and thinks that she has to have meds to live. It's hard for me to understand since I really don't know what they feel like. She usually takes Paxil everyday, but a few days ago, she got her prescription filled of Klonipan. She has taken it before in the past, but I can definately tell when she is on it. It changes her personality. She says that she needs it, but I'm wondering if she is taking too much at one time, or does if have a strong effect on her when she first takes it after being off of it for a while. Some of the symptoms are being spaced out, having a glossy look in her eyes, not being able to keep her balance, falling asleep anywhere, slurring and others. She says that she is fine, but I'm thinking she is not. I have a 3 month old baby that she sometimes takes care of and now I don't know what to think. Please help me to let me know if this is normal or should I talk to her??
