You can not stop an ssri cold turkey.When you stop the symptoms come back worse than ever.The side effects also come back.You may have excessive REM sleep and nightmares.SSRI drugs stop REM sleep.I do not see have ssri drugs do anything to cure the illness but exposure therapy does.New book explains this all called called Your Drug May Be your Problem.
