A family friend all of a sudden lost her ability to swallow and her speech became slurred. Was admitted to ER and fed by tube 4 weeks ago. Doctors could not confirm stroke, said cause could be virus or something else. Went home after a week. Seeing speech and physical therapyists. Now recovering slowly. Wish to contact people who have had similar experience with friends or relatives. Looking for support group.
